Training in a group guarantees fun, support and motivation. At the BeMoreActive Studio, we offer weekly sessions including Boxing, Park Move, Functional Fit and Move! We work with the Virtuagym app which allows you to buy your session cards (10, 20 or unlimited for a 3 or 6 month period) and book your classes online.

Functional Fit

A fun way of getting fit, the Functional Fit sessions are movement based exercises and a mix of strength, cardio, natural movement, abs and floor-work. Each exercise is easily adjustable in intensity and difficulty, making sure everyone is comfortable and can work out on his or her own level and skill. No matter your age, level or goal: Functional Fit will make you move more and build fitness in a fun and social environment. 

 

Kickboxing (men - women mixed)

For men and women who were always curious about kickboxing but were unsure about trying it or put off by the idea of sparring, now is your chance! Combinations, coordination, technique training and going hell for leather! Partner work will be on gloves and cushions, there are punching bags for the harder work - no sparring with each other. For men of all ages and abilities - no prior boxing experience required. An ideal chance to kick-off the weekend together with your partner, friend(s) or colleague(s)

 

Women Only Boxing Beginner

Calling all women who’ve always wanted to try boxing, but were put off by the fact that the sport is predominantly male orientated. Feel confident walking into our studio knowing that all the woman there want to get fit, learn defence and have fun.  You will learn the principles and movement behind both attack and defence without ever competing in a ring or sparring. For women of all ages and abilities - no prior boxing experience required.

Alignment Based Yoga

In this yoga class we will focus on the importance of proper breathing and alignment in each position. By taking a deep dive into each pose and holding them for longer, you will be improving your posture, building strength and stretching deeper as well as sharpening your awareness of your own body.  

Suitable for all ages and abilities, this is the perfect complement to the Yoga Flow class.

In this class, we use alignment-based yoga and learn how to flow dynamically from one yoga pose to the next - strengthening your core, improving your posture, flexibility and concentration.  Yoga flow classes tend to be a vigorous and aerobic form of yoga ... a great workout to fun music.
